Alves arrested by Spanish police for sexually assaulting woman at nightclub

Veteran side defender Dani Alves of the Brazilian national team will be tried by the law for sexual assault.

Alves met a woman he met at a nightclub in Barcelona in late December 2022, and he sued Alves, claiming that he had been sexually assaulted. Due to this, the Spanish police arrested and detained Alves and are investigating.
