Manchester City have been on a roll this season. They’ve already won the Premier League and have an FA Cup final against Manchester United and a UEFA Champions League final against Inter Milan. If they win both, they will become the first English team to win a treble since Manchester United in 1998/99.

Guardiola was asked at his pre-match press conference against Brighton & Hove Albion on Thursday if he would leave City if the treble is achieved. He replied: “I have no intention of leaving at the moment. Who knows the future, but I’m not thinking about leaving,” he said.

“I want to continue managing City next season, regardless of the result. I want it, but I don’t know what emotions the win or loss of the two chances in front of us will bring. What is clear is that I am contracted to the club until the 2024/25 season and I want to honor that.”

Since joining City in 2016, Guardiola has won five Premier League titles, four League Cups and one FA Cup.
