Jeju United will look to continue their march to the top of the FA Cup for the first time in their history by knocking out Daejeon Hana Citizens in the fourth round (round of 16) of the 2023 Hana One Q at Jeju World Cup Stadium on Thursday at 7pm.

Jeju is currently in top form. After going winless (2 draws and 3 losses) through the first five rounds of the K League One season and falling to the bottom of the table, the club has gone on an unbeaten run (5 wins and 1 draw) in its last six matches to climb to third place (7 wins, 3 draws and 4 losses – 24 points). They will now look to continue that momentum and get back to winning ways in the FA Cup, and their opponents are in strong form, having won their last two matches against Daejeon. 스포츠토토

The key will be stamina. Jeju recently played two away matches (Suwon FC and FC Seoul). They also have a home game against Suwon Samseong in the 15th round of the Hana WonQ K League 2023 on April 27 at Jeju World Cup Stadium. Given the tight schedule that extends through weekdays and weekends, the team plans to manage the players’ physical condition and stamina while also increasing their motivation through optimal rotation.

“It’s a tight schedule, but so is our opponent. We have a lot of players back from injury, and there are still some thirsty players behind us, so we have a lot of options to prepare for the FA Cup. We’re still going in the direction we want to go. We will not falter and will continue to sprint to victory.”
